UBT aims to offer higher education, professional and life long learning study programs that are competitive in South-East Europe. The institution is considered to be a leader in its educational offer in Kosovo both in terms of quality and degree of innovation.
The institution offers about 28 study programs at bachelor and master level. UBT employs around 500 teaching, research and administrative staff from Kosovo, Europe and wider. The learning environment at the institution is designed to support both theoretical instruction and professional practice.
Programs are delivered in five different campues/regions including Prishtina, UBT Lipjan Innovation Campus, Ferizaj, Prizren and Peja. UBT Innovation Campus is a member of Global Association of Innovation Parks and hosts around 40 different labs and one of the largest libraries in South-East Europe.
Service delivery and contribution to the community have been recognized both locally and internationally. The institution is accredited by the Kosovo Accreditation Agency to offer various programs in engineering, social science, medicine, humanities and arts. UBT was accredited by the Austrian Accreditation Agency to offer joint-programs in political science. The institution holds another two important international certifications of quality – EFQM Excellence Award and ISO.
The student body consists of around 18,000 students. They are offered diplomas recognized nationally and internationally. UBT is a leader in internationalisation of higher education in Kosovo. It offers the best student and staff mobility programs in Kosovo.
UBT Alumni have one of the highest employability in Kosovo labour market. About 95% of our graduates find employment within the first year of graduation in private, public and non-governmental sector.
