Public Health and Management

The Master of Science in Public Health and Management at UBT represents a contemporary second-cycle academic programme designed to prepare professionals capable of addressing the complex challenges of modern healthcare systems. The programme is offered by the Faculty of Health Sciences and is structured in accordance with the National Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework, positioned at ISCED Level 7.

The programme aims to develop advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of public health, epidemiology, healthcare institution management, health policy, health economics, leadership, and scientific research. Through a multidisciplinary approach, students acquire competencies to analyse public health challenges, design effective interventions, and manage complex processes within healthcare organizations.

The programme comprises 120 ECTS credits and is delivered over two academic years. The curriculum has been designed by combining theoretical components with practical activities, case studies, research projects, and professional experiences in public and private healthcare institutions. This approach ensures that graduates are well prepared for the labour market and capable of addressing real-world challenges in healthcare management and health system development.
