Faculties

 

The Academic Management of the College is set out in Article 38 of the Statute. Deans of Faculties are responsible for day-to-day management of studies. Faculties are responsible for unit academic strategy, student examination, teaching and learning, research and development, links with industry, operational and procedural aspects including quality policy implementation. The number of Faculties is jointly proposed by the President and Academic Council.

 

The Faculty has the following structure: Dean and Faculty Council. Depending on the size and level of development, the Faculty Deans are assisted by Vice-Deans for Academic and Student Affairs, Vice-Dean for Research, Vice-Dean for Quality Management and Vice-Dean for External Relations.  Faculty Councils are composed ex officio by programme chairs, Faculty management, staff representatives, student representatives and industry representatives. The Faculty is is responsible to the President of UBT on managerial affairs whilst the responsibly for academic affair is delivered to the Academic Council
