The Faculty of Architecture and Spatial Planning in UBT offers study programs in Architecture and Spatial Planning since academic year 2005/06.
Currently the Faculty offers internationally recognized study programs in Architecture and Spatial Planning in Bachelor level (3 years, 180 ECTS) and Master level (2 years, 120 ECTS).
The Mission of the Faculty is to promote best practices in the field of Architecture and Spatial Planning based on current market needs in local and regional level offering a 21st century’s dynamic and innovative academic environment. The Faculty is dedicated to teaching and research excellence, intellectual interaction, creativity, and the cultivation of a skilled and knowledgeable community that contributes to national and regional development in the field of architecture and spatial planning.
The Faculty’s study program aims to prepare competent architects for identification and analysis of architectural problems, drafting and development of architectural projects and service for community in the professional field taking into consideration also general social and environmental issues.
The program encompasses skills on communication and information and ideas exchange. The program also includes interdisciplinary aspects that enable students to transfer and contextualize their competences in different fields and different working environments, including team-working and individual working skills.
Bachelor study program is offered in three branches: Prishtinë, Ferizaj and Prizren. The Master study program is offered in Prishtinë.
The Faculty of Architecture and Spatial Planning at UBT offers a dynamic and innovative academic environment, so the students can become professionally skilled but also enjoy student and social life with rich premises and infrastructure and diverse academic and recreational activities.
