Academic staff is one of the most important aspect of the institution of higher education. The quality of human resources is seen as a great effort for the success and prospects of a particular university. The Food Science and Technology Program is according to European standards and because of this high standard program the academic staff in our institution, are qualified people, based on the achievement of international publications and quotations at international level (i.e. (369 Journal publications, 556 Conference publications and 2620 citations), also meet the standards set by the legislation of the Republic of Kosovo.


Over 80% of academic staff are full-time employed, employed according to law, descibing the tasks, responsibilities of the job position. All subjects of the Food Science and Biotechnology program are covered by full time professors and teaching assistants specializing in subjects. Academic staff feels comfortable within the infrastructure of the institution and in the administrative aspect.
