Targeted group
Teachers who will be able to participate in the training are teachers from Primary School, Lower Secondary School, and High School. Teachers will benefit from this training because they will do initial computer systems analysis, basic security implementations and will learn the most contemporary security practices and applications that they can share with students in the future. This program has a duration of 40 academic hours, where the distribution of hours is as follows:

Upon completion of the training teachers will be able to:

  • Understand the potential threats to information systems
  • Understand theories and principles of information security
  • Acquire their defense mechanisms and their strength and limitations
  • Demonstrate how to ensure file and user access
  • Review procedures before and after the incident
  • Provide technical and managerial responses
  • Present an overview of information security planning and staffing functions
