Activities

Political Sciences Faculty within UBT organizes a large number of activities during an academic year for all its students and academic staff. The main focus for us is to establish a culture where the students gain their practical knowledge from different points of views and to maintain being the faculty of achieving goals and ambitions.

Therefore, we created the UBT Political Sciences Forum which is held weekly, where the students have the chance to meet different well known personalities with the political, economic or law background who are invited at UBT to share their work experience or give a thematic lecture for the audience in the form of questions and answers forums. Everyone part of the forum is invited to give their thoughts and opinions regarding the certain topic of the week, which helps the students create their critical thinking and more.

Some of the activities that our Forum organizes weekly include the following themes:

•  Staff and students’ conferences regarding the International Relations and European Integration as some of the basic and most recent topics inside the country and out, including the NATO delegation and NATO Defense College conferences.
• Thematic lectures given by remarkable people whose experience stands out and gives a closer look and understanding of Political Science, including here the Western Balkans discussion with foreign ambassadors, The Franco-Albanian Friendship Association lecture and discussions with personalities from Austria, Slovenia, United States of America, Guatemala, etc.
• Workshops organized with the students who belong in the second and third year of their studies, including research methods and content analysis.
