UBT Organizes Awareness Lecture on Breast Cancer Prevention
29/10/2026The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK), through the Regional Center of Public Health (RCPH) in Prishtina, in cooperation with UBT, organized an awareness lecture on breast cancer as part of the Pink October campaign.
The lecture highlighted the importance of awareness, prevention, and early detection of breast cancer, emphasizing the role of health information and education in promoting health and well-being.
The activity featured contributions from the following healthcare professionals:
- Adelina Ahmeti Pronaj – Child Psychiatrist
- Valbona Paçarizi Maloku – Public Health Specialist
- Besa Sutaj – Public Health Specialist
The activity conveyed an important message: access to accurate information, regular health check-ups, and early detection are essential steps in the fight against breast cancer.
Through its collaboration with healthcare institutions, UBT continues to support initiatives that contribute to health education, community awareness, and the promotion of a culture of health and well-being.
