Through its Institute for Foreign Languages, and thanks to a collaboration with the Italian Embassy to Kosovo, UBT is offering three inter-faculty Italian language and culture courses at two different levels during the winter semester 2025-26.
Beginners can take the standard “Italiano A” course (pre-A1, 2 hours/week), offered on either:
Thursdays from 14:30 to 16:30 h or Fridays from 11 to 13 h, both in classroom D126 in the City Centre Dugagjni; the coursebook is Nuovissimo progetto italiano 1a, edilingua.
Those who already have a solid basic knowledge of the language, subject to passing an admission test, can attend the intensive “Italiano C” course (A2-, 4 hours/week), taking place on Mondays from 11:00 to 13:00 h and Wednesdays from 12:00 to 14:00 h, in classroom D126 in the City Centre Dugagjni; the coursebook is L’italiano all’università 1, edilingua.
The courses require regular and active attendance as well as consistent homework.. Those who already have Italian language skills corresponding to the published syllabi may enrol directly for the final exams; however a previous consultation with the lecturer is mandatory.
