UBT Rector Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi Joins Global Dialogue on Peace, Education, Technology and Sustainable Development

On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, observed on September 21, UBT Rector, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, joined the global “Peace One Day Broadcast”, an international platform bringing together voices and perspectives from diverse fields in a shared dialogue on peace and a sustainable future.

Rector Hajrizi’s participation in this international platform places UBT within a global space for dialogue and discussion, where education, innovation and technology are addressed as important drivers in building more inclusive, sustainable and peaceful societies.

The broadcast highlighted the role of education, technology, innovation and sustainable development in shaping a more peaceful future, as well as the importance of empowering young people to actively contribute to the processes that shape the future of society.

For UBT, peace represents not only the absence of conflict, but also the creation of opportunities through knowledge, education, dialogue and innovation. In this regard, the university continues to promote an approach centered on international cooperation, human capital development and the use of technology to address contemporary challenges.

Participation in the “Peace One Day Broadcast” reflects UBT’s commitment to contributing to international discussions on issues that shape the future of societies and younger generations, while representing Kosovo and its academic and innovative potential on a global platform.
