Labs, Centers and Institutes

The program is based on work done by TEMPUS Project for Corriculum Development for Energy Efficiency where UBT is part of the consorcium.

The program has a complete laboratory with all electrical equipment for fundamentals of electric and electronic, electrical control circuits, solar systems, wind turbines, biomass power generation, heat pump etc.,

The strengths of the program are directly linked to the principles that UBT promotes namely scientific method, international cooperation, practice orientation, inter-disciplinarily and interactivity. The programme also enshrines the importance of technology and technological developments in business and economic development.

Energy Engineering is the study of energy systems and often energy efficient systems connected in some way that are monitored using appropriate components and controlled using computer systems.
