UBT supports student-led initiatives that contribute to academic development, innovation, research, professional growth, community engagement, and extracurricular activities. Students are encouraged to propose and implement projects such as workshops, conferences, competitions, research projects, exhibitions, and social initiatives.
Funding and Financial Support Depending on the scale, relevance, and impact of the initiative, UBT provides structured financial and organizational support:
- Small-scale projects and workshops: Up to €300 per initiative.
- Academic competitions, conferences, or innovation projects: €500–€1,500 per project.
- International representation & Strategic initiatives: Case-by-case funding based on institutional review (covering travel, registration, and accommodation).
- Awards and Recognition: Outstanding achievements may include cash prizes, tuition fee discounts, or institutional sponsorship for further development.

- Full access to UBT Laboratories and Maker-Spaces.
- Administrative and logistical support.
- Professional mentorship from academic staff and industry experts.
- Marketing and promotional support through UBT Media channels.
Application Procedure
- Proposal Submission: Students submit a Standard Initiative Form outlining objectives, outcomes, timeline, and a detailed budget breakdown.
- Faculty Review: Proposals are evaluated by the Faculty Council or the Student Support Office based on academic value, feasibility, and alignment with UBT’s Strategic Plan.
- Approval: Approved projects receive a formal Grant Confirmation and budget allocation.
- Implementation: Execution of the project under the supervision of an assigned Academic Mentor.
- Final Reporting: Submission of a Financial and Impact Report within 15 days of project completion.
