Admission

The programme is designed to attract:

  • Students with undergraduate degrees in a computing discipline who seek an advanced degree
  • Students with undergrad degrees in a computing discipline who need further learning in a particular specialisation
  • Students who have been working in a narrowly focused computing areas and want to acquire a more broadly based qualification
  • Students from non-computing disciplines who want to change career paths’ namely students from science, mathematics and engineering, students from business and administration science.

The programme admission criteria are as follows:

  • Students that have completed an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering
  • Students that have completed an undergraduate degree in Information’s Systems
  • Students that have completed an undergraduate degree in Mechatronics, Engineering or Electrical/Electronics
  • Students that have graduated from business and administration fields who demonstrate prior work experience in computer science and engineering or are able to complete the Computer Science Preparation Packages (Mathematics, Computer Science 1, Fundamentals of IT (Programming), Algorithms, Fundamentals of Electrical and Electronic Engineering)
