International Cooperation

The programme is based on the body of knowledge in computer science and engeneering produced as part of the Associaction of Computer Machinery (ACM) and IEEE.  While the former have produced the common core in undergraduate programms, a comprehensive graduate curriculum reference is missing. However,  XXXX in cooperation with IEEE have produced the common core in graduate programs in Software Engeneering, Systems Engeneering and Information Systems.  Furthermore, the programme embodies the EU E-Competence Famework and the most recent ethical foundations of the discipline.  Academic institutions have produced various general or specialist computer science and engeneering programms depending on staff resource, industry demands and student desination dynamics.

The programme at UBT enshirenes the common core of computer science and engeneering disciplines but its areas of specialisation reflect the local context, induststry trends and the interests expressed by staff and students. Generally, there are a number of academic institutions with similar programms and specialisations:

  • Santa Clara University, MSc Computer Science and Engeneering
  • Rutgers University, MSc Computer and Electrical Engeneering
  • University of Amsterdam, MSc Computer Science and Engeneering
