UBT students from the Faculty of Engineering and Management have paid a visit to Hydrometeorology Institute of Kosovo, where they were accompanied by their professors, Faton Maloku, Afete Shala and Shkumbin Shala.

The aim of this visit was to provide them with acquiring engineering knowledge, as they closely looked at the windmill, the rainforest, as well as other instruments of air, water and soil.

Among others, students had also the opportunity to have a closer look of the maintenance sector of hydrological and meteorological stations and also other instruments used to assess air quality.

Along with the staff of the Hydrometeorological Institute, students made a systematic monitoring and ascertainment of air pollution, atmospheric rainfall, surface water and groundwater, as well as their impact on the biosphere.

This visit also helped students to be oriented in finding topics for scientific research.
