UBT students have visited residential and commercial buildings in Pristina
11/01/2019Students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Infrastructure at UBT have made a study visit to the 42-floor facility and the residential building of the company “Nartel”, in Prishtina.
The visit was carried out within the course “Organizing and Construction Technology”, while students were accompanied by their professors, Muhamet Ahmeti and Anjeza Alaj.
The UBT students have been awaited from the representatives of these two companies who informed them about the construction and working process.
At the 42-th floor facility, students had the opportunity to see construction sites, measures taken for safety at work, and also they saw the renovation of the structure due to changes occurring in the project, as well as the skeletal system of the facility.
The students had the opportunity to have a look at the construction settings and provided them with details about the necessary safety precautions. In addition, they also closely investigated the ongoing changes in occurring in the skeletal system of the building.
Meanwhile, the focus of the visit at the commercial building was the structural facade and its mounting technology.
