UBT Student Atdhe Buja Attending Five-Month Training Program in Japan

Atdhe Buja, an UBT master courses student, is attending a five-month training program at the JICA Okinawa International Center, Japan, as part of a development program of assistance of the Japanese Government.


The training program, “ICT for the Improvement of Government Capacity and Services: Information Systems, Security and Strategy” for CIO’s has been offered to the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, namely, the Agency of the Information Society.


Representatives from a number of countries, like Namibia, Botswana, Rwanda, Iraq, Kosovo, Palau, and other, are part of the program. The program is designed to provide training to the governmental and nongovernmental organizations in using the ICT services.  It seeks enhancing the leadership capacity of participants, development of the ICT strategies, and improvement of the business processes.

 

In addition to the training, participants have been given the opportunity to be part of a number of other activities, like participation in an international festival and presentations of the culture of the participating countries.  Mr. Buja has been representing the Republic of Kosovo in a dignified manner in all of these activities.
