UBT Sings Cooperation Agreement with USHT

The UBT’s efforts to promote cooperation with other universities from Kosovo, the region, and wider have been crowned with an agreement signed today with the State University of Tetova (USHT).


Prof. Dr. Fahri Ramadani, the UBSH’s vice-dean on education issues, and Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Krasniqi, director for academic issues for UBT, who signed the deal on behalf of their respective institutions, said the two institutions would cooperate in a number of multilateral projects.


The agreement provides for exchanging counseling on setting up and running laboratories of respective fields, the use of efficient energy, secondary materials in industry and physical materials.


The cooperation agreement between the State University of Tetova and the UBT attaches special importance to the organization of the scholarly and academic events.  In this respect, the two institutions will exchange their academic staff, and will host seminars and lectures in Tetova and Prishtina.


The agreement also provides for exchanging of staff on the master and doctorial courses as well as joint scientific experiments.  To this end, the facilities and services of both institutions will be at the service for respective activities free of charge.

 

The agreement also envisages joint publications in the referral journals in order to attract sponsors of projects, and develop webpages in German, English, and Albanian. Through this agreement, the parties also agreed to use external funds for joint projects, joint participation in national and international conferences.
