Rector Hajrizi holds important meetings in Florida – Promotes innovation and international partnerships in education

The Rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, has been in Florida, where he visited the University of South Florida in the cities of St. Petersburg and Tampa, and on this occasion held important meetings with the leaders of this educational institution.

During this visit, under the organization of Prof. Dr. Judithanne Scourfiled Mclauchlan, associate professor of political science at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, Rector Hajrizi met with the Rector of this University, where they discussed the possibility of cooperation and exchange of best practices between the two institutions.

Rector Hajrizi also visited the hub of innovation in the city of St. Petersburg, where he discussed the possibility of exchanging practices between the city and UBT Smart City.

Furthermore, he also held important meetings at the School of International Studies, aiming to harmonize future activities within the framework of university cooperation. Discussions with the Director of Global Partnership focused on joint projects involving students and staff from both universities.

In a presentation at the modern library of the University, Rector Hajrizi presented the model of UBT Smart City and its innovative approach to education in Kosovo and the region. Afterwards, he engaged with Albanian students at the university, encouraging connections and exchange opportunities. Rector Hajrizi’s visit to Florida highlights UBT’s commitment to promoting international partnerships and innovation in education.
