UBT Leaders at Closing Meeting of AEP Project

UBT leaders,  Professor Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, rector, and Dr. Muzafer Shala, dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences, have participated at the closing meeting  of the EAP (Academic Exchange for Progress) project, which held at the South East European University in Tetove.


The project involved partnership between Gjøvik University in Norway, the UBT, the University of Tirana, the University of Prishtina, and the South East European University in Tetova, in the fields of mobility of professors and students as well as cooperation on joint projects.


 As part of the program, a number of students from the UBT participated in one of the seminars at the Gjøvik University in Norway.  Another student is completing the doctorial studies at the Gjøvik University after having completed the bachelor and master courses at the UBT, who is also part of the academic staff of this institute.


The meeting held in Tetova was used for making a recapitulation of the hitherto cooperation and the results of this cooperation, which paved the way for further cooperation in other joint projects.


Rector Dr. Edmond Hajrizi highly evaluated the cooperation as part of the program.  He said the UBT is known in the region for international cooperation, which has constantly provided opportunities for the UBT students and staff to gain new experiences by studying in partner universities.

 

Representatives of the institutions participating at the meeting prepared a number of cooperation projects for the future, as part of the “Erasmus Plus,” “Horizon 2020”, and other programs.
