UBT enriches the “DokuTech” by presenting innovative technology projects

In the framework of being an educational Institution which has anticipated the technological advancements in Kosovo, UBT has been invited by “DokuTech” wherein some students from the faculty of mechatronics in UBT, have elaborated and unfolded some of their projects.

During this activity there was also discussed about the Virtual Reality Technology and its interrelation with robotics. During the first day of this event there has been presented a robot, which was built up and comprised of recycled electronic devices. The main function and the aim of this robot is that of putting under control and implementing the technology concerned with Virtual Reality. In addition, there was also presented the Beggar Robot, built from and developed by the UBT students by utilizing the recycled electronic devices.

During the second day, there was deeply elaborated the concept of “smart house”. Despite the design and projecting the electronic and mechanic parts, the students also created a new application called the Android platform. By using this application the users will be provided with the opportunity of monitoring the lightning system, the temperature, electrical expenses, watering system and the automated opening and closing of doors.

This innovative projects are built and developed by the UBT students, which were enthusiastically embraced by the audience and participants of DokuTech. This project was thought to be among the most outstanding breakthroughs in Kosovo.
