The UBT students visited the Center of Wood Refinement
14/12/2018The UBT students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Infrastructure at UBT have paid a study visit to several local companies, and as a matter of a fact have paid a visit to the Center of Wood Refinement, in Ferizaj.
They were accompanied by the UBT professors, Visar Krelani and Arber Mucaj and had the opportunity of closely observing the process of wood refining and carrying out these tasks by utilizing certain mechanisms and digital systems.
They have been awaited by the head of the Community Development Foundation Nermine Mahmuti, who has tackled issue related to the quality, manufacturing processes, sales and designs which were being used during work process.
Moreover she has emphasized that the mission of this center is to promote the sector of wood refining as well as to initiate an inter-sectored collaboration between institutions, regarding the implementing of innovations, new technologies, and investments.
Furthermore Mahmuti added that this center aims to develop common projects and endorse the manufacturing of new products, internationalization of business which contributes to increase the level of competition in this sector.
To further illustrate the process of wood refining, UBT students have met the representatives of this centre and designed the UBT logo in a wooden plate.
