The former UBT student as a designer of the Informal Center of Education for young people

In Pjetershtan of Gjakova has started the construction of the informal center of Education for young people and also the Recreation Center for children called“Regreeneration”, a project planned by the former student of the Faculty of Architecture and Spatial Planning in UBT, Jeta Bejtullahu. She has started with her architecture studio, “FormaDDM” for 5 years now.

In this capital project, part of which was also the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports as a contributor, the former student was the head architect where she developed the concept of three components: environment, youth community and recreation acitivities.

Bejtullahu said that she projected a multifunctional environment that offers good conditions for developing activities for young people and their further education.

 

“The project is planned based on the interaction of nature which includes open space for fun activities in green lands and nature, like: Mixed sport fields, volleyball fields with sand,  mini-golf, paths for walking and jogging, trainings for archery, spaces for camping, open amphitheater, climbing wall, horticulture (bee-keeping sector, green houses, gardening) and constructive spaces including also 3 pavilions for sleeping (accomodation)”, said Bejtuallahu.

This center will soon be transformed in an American type of camp, while it is characterized of special areas for organizing different trainings aiming to improving the abilities of youth in enterpreneurship, innovation, sport etc.

During the studies in UBT, Jeta Bejtuallahu benefited from many scholarships of mobility program CEEPUS in the University of Check Republic, in the politechnic University of Shubenik, Croatia, as well as in the Technical University of Krakova, Poland.

In 2017, together with Ilirjana Haxhiaj  they won the prize as  lauretaes of “Future Architecture Platform” with their project “Redevelopment of social housing infrastructure” in Gjakova, where they were ranked on the 4th position out of 10 best projects.
