Corruption is a phenomena which negatively affecting the life of Kosovo citizens. This is the underlying reason for the initiation of the Week against Corruption, which is associated by numerous activities.

 

Under the motto Zero bribes for the corrupted”, a large number of staff members coming from the Investigation Unit of Economic Crimes and Corruption of Kosovo Police, headed by the Capitan Luan Ibrahimi have informed the students about the participants regarding the notion and the most frequent forms of corruption. Nevertheless there is still a lot to be done because our main is goal is to bring the scale of corruption to the lowest level”, stated Ibrahimi.

As a result, only one person who was found guilty of corruption was arrested in 2017, whereas, this year have been arrested 21 persons.
