In UBT is taking place training program concerned with Geographic-based Information Systems (GIS)
11/12/2018A great number of architects, environmentalists, engineers and officials from different ministries, communal officials and NGO’s have participated in the professional training related to Geographic-based Information Systems (GIS), which has been organized by UBT and it is also fruitful for the daily life.
In the framework of this training the participants will gain knowledge related to GIS, respectively in terms of geo referencing, digitalization, data base, visualizing, and aspects linked with designing of format. The training is being held in UBT campus of Prishtina by the lecturer Hazir Cadraku, and will last for 2 hours, involving both theoretical and practical aspects.
The participants of this training will get certified after succeeding in their final test. GIS is a computer system which aids in collecting, preservation, systemizing, analyzing, managing, reporting, and administering of decision-making processes as far as the spatial data are concerned.
