A number of UBT students, led by Professor Alfred Marleku, have visited the Warsaw University, namely the Institute of International Relations of that university.  As part of the visit, the students took part in a number of activities, including engagement in important meetings, attending lectures, and participation in a conference.

Initially, they attended a lecture delivered by Professor Jerzy Ciechański on the topic “Introdcution to World Politics,” then a lecture by professor Karina Jedrzejowska on the topic “Monetary and Financial Integrations in the European Union,” and a special lecture delivered by professor John J. Mearshamer, one of the world’s most renowned authors on the international relations, entitled “How Did the West Cause Ukraine Crisis.”

The UBT students also met Mrs. Mariza Lukasiewics, a representative of the Students Union of the Warsaw University, and Prof. Dr. Marta Kicinska-Haibior, Vice-Rector of the Warsaw University.  They also met professors Jakub Zajaczkowski and Karina Jedrzejovska.

During their visit to Warsaw, the UBT students attended an international conference “Realism and Policies of Great Powers in Europe and Asian Pacific.”
