UBT, Kosovo’s Only Private Institution To Benefit for Third Time from ERASMUS MUNDUS- Sigma Agile Project

The UBT has continued to benefit from international projects in the sector of education in Europe and broader.  This year, for the third time in a row, the UBT has been chosen as a beneficiary of the European Union’s project ERASMUS MUNDUS.


The project provides for many UBT students, just like they could do in the previous years, to get full scholarships for the new academic year and the years 2014 to 2018, at all levels of studying – Bachelor, Master, Doctorial, and Post-Doctorial, in prestigious universities in different European countries.


Besides the scholarships, the ERASMUS MUNDUS-Sigma Agile the project involves other activities such as entrepreneurship training, management, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and other.  The project, which has a budget of 3 million euros, will provide for 156 scholarships.  It will last from 2014 to 2018 when the project is due to end.


As part of the ERASMUS MUNDUS project, 20 universities from the region and Europe – 11 from the Balkan countries, and nine from other European countries – will be the beneficiaries.


The UBT is the only private institution of the Republic of Kosovo which has benefited from this project so far.  The UBT has been the project’s beneficiary for four years. 

 

The project partners our students can study are: University of Warsaw, Poland; City University London-UK; Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, Germany; Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland; University of Milan, Italy; University of Salzburg, Austria; University of Twente, ITC Faculty, Netherlands; Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain; University Nova de Lisbon, Portugal.
