UBT is discussing about the preservation of intellectual property

The value of each product or invention is multiplied since the moment it is patented and particularly when the copyright is being preserved in relevance with the legal framework of Kosovo. This issue was closely elaborated regarding the debate about intellectual property and technology transferring in the framework of the Global Week of Entrepreneurship. Due to the fact, numerous experts have discussed about this issue and have come up to a conclusion that it is of significant importance to carry out the patenting of the most up-to-date inventions.

 

In the framework of raising awareness about those rights UBT has founded the Centre of Knowledge Transferring guided by Drenica Lauka. She emphasized that the right to intellectual property is the key to a guaranteed success of a product, as matter of a fact UBT has paid a lot of attention to establishing such a center.

 

“The Center of Transferring Technology”, is founded with the aim of training staff, creative students and innovators, without taking into account the way these ideas have been developed. “Everyone who has innovative ideas ought to unfold it in this centre, in order to avoid being altered by a third party”, underlined Drenica.

 

Amidst the invited guests, was also the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania Qemal Minxhozi, who highlighted that Kosovo as well as Albania are the only states in the region that are concerned with this issue and that have many drawbacks as far as the preservation of the copyright is concerned. Although there are plenty of innovators, they don’t enjoy their rights.

“In Kosovo as well as Albania there are many talents, but they are ill-informed misguided in this area. As far as this issue is concerned, UBT is promoter of innovative ideas, which foster the economic development of our country”, stated Minxhozi.

 

Moreover the Head of Copyright Sector Valon Kashtanjeva emphasized the importance of the preserving copyright of intellectual property.

 

 

 

“These are powerful companies with a strong capital, and this comes as a resu
