UBT and Corvinus University Sign Cooperation Memorandum

UBT Rector Dr. Edmond Hajrizi and Dr. László Palkovics, Vice-Rector of the Budapest-based Corvinus University, have signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two institutions.  The memorandum of cooperation that the UBT has signed with the Corvinus University, the largest university in Hungary, envisages an exchange of students and lecturers, doctorial studies, cooperation in the field of research, and a number of other aspects of cooperation.  

 

 Mr. Hajrizi and Mr. Palkovics have also agreed on expanding the cooperation as part of the Erasmus Plus Program, which includes staff and students’ mobility and participation in joint projects.  They also discussed the prospects of more comprehensive cooperation as part of the “Horizon 2020” project. 

 

Dr. Laszlo Palkovics was briefed by UBT Rector Edmond Hajrizi on the way the UBT operates as well as the international partnership the university he leads is involved in, noting that the UBT is a higher education institution that has cooperation agreements with a number of universities and prestigious academic institutions in Europe and wider. 

 

Corvinus University Vice-Rector Palkovics expressed his praised The UBT for its achievements, noting that this was one of the main reasons for establishing cooperation with this Higher Education Institute of Kosovo.   He also noted that the Corvinus University was involved in many international projects, part of which is also the UBT, as the only Higher Education Institute of the region.  In this respect, the cooperation between the two institutions, he said, would be easier and this will provide for additional opportunities for the staff and students of both academic institutions.
