Second year students from the Faculty of Energy Engineering have carried out a study visit in the Biogas Plant in Tetovo, in Macedonia. This study visit was carried out in compliance of the subject “Energy Production and Biomass”, while the students were accompanied by their professor Sami Makolli.

In the framework of this study visit students were hosted by the owner of this company Arben Abdyrrahmani who held a thematic lecture to raise awareness among students about the employment opportunities.

Prior to the study visit in the plant, there was also carried out a visit in the factory “Vezë Sharri”. Students were also informed about the transforming processes of methane, until the production of 1MW electric energy in relevance to the plant capacity.

The interest and curiosity of UBT students was praised by the leaders of the Biogas Plant, who expressed the desire to assist UBT students in the professional aspect.
