The Kosovo team is getting ready for the international robotics competition in Singapore

This year as well, UBT will represent Kosovo in the largest international robotics competition, “FIRST Global Challenge,” which will be held in Singapore.

The team from Kosovo, consisting of Leona Hajrizi, Eda Palushi, Muhamed Shala, and Gjin Gojani, under the leadership of Elita Hajrizi, has started preparations for participation in one of the largest international robotics competitions, “FIRST Global Challenge.”

With about 200 participating teams from around the world, Kosovo will be represented this year by enthusiastic, talented youth inspired to honor and elevate the values of our people on the international stage.

“We are very happy and at the same time excited about the participation of talented young people from Kosovo in the international robotics competition ‘FIRST Global Challenge.’ We strongly believe that, in addition to positive results, we will showcase the culture and traditions of Kosovo in Singapore, just as we have done in previous years,” said Elita Hajrizi, the mentor of Kosovo’s team for the international robotics competition.

The goal of this competition is the further development of young people in the field of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), and UBT, as an educational institution in Kosovo, is one of the largest schools of mechatronics engineering, incorporating STEM education into higher secondary education.
