Director of Programs for Europe in Deutsche Welle, Adelheid Feilcke will be awarded the prize “Excellence and Leadership Award” by UBT
26/10/2018Due to its great contribution in the field of journalism, UBT will award the European Department Director to Deutsche Welle, Adelheid Feilcke, the award “Excellence in Leadership”.
The prize is going to be given by the UBT Rector prof. Dr Edmond Hajrizi, who will avail from the occasion to initiate the opening ceremony of the UBT International Conference. These activities will take place from 16.00 o’clock.
Since 1981, Adelheid Feilcke started on her career in the field of journalism and worked as a press editor. In addition, she also worked as a journalist in a wide range of renowned regional and national Radios, such as in WDR Deutschlandradio etc.
Feilcke joined Deutsche Welle Radio, and was at the same time the founder of this radio in Albanian language. She is an experienced reporter and editor in peace as well as wartime. Besides that, since 1995 she has been employed as a trainer in the academy of DW.
“Excellent Leadership Award” is the highest prize awarded by UBT for notable local and international personalities, who have given a great contribution and attained significant achievements in a variety of different fields.
