Admission

College UBT has a clearly defined, comprehensive, and well-published set of requirements and criteria for admission to the Applied Chemistry Program. The admission process adheres to the relevant national regulations, such as Article 29 of the Law on Higher Education in Kosovo and the internal rules established by the Faculty Council.

For domestic students, applicants must have successfully completed secondary education and passed the Matura Exam. The admission process is initiated through a public call, and students are required to submit a set of documents, including their secondary education diploma, for review. The Faculty Council evaluates candidates based on specific criteria, such as Grade Point Average (GPA), which must be at least 3.0 for admission.

For international students, the process requires recognition and equivalency of their secondary education diplomas through the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation of Kosovo. This ensures that international applicants meet the national education standards before they can apply.

For students coming from international education systems, such as those with U.S.-recognized diplomas, there is a procedure for the equivalency of GPA to match Kosovo’s grading system. This ensures fairness and consistency in the admission of students from diverse educational backgrounds.

The admission criteria is the completion of secondary education, GPA of 3.5 according to Kosovo system, and successful passing of Matura exam

If the language of instruction is English (for which separate program accreditation must be requested), there is another criteria of language proficiency proven by 110 points achieved in Computer Based TOEFL Test or equivalent with C1 level. TOEFL test is also organized at UBT College, which has the license to organize such exams in Kosovo.
