Over 300 Participants and 220 Presentations at UBT’s International Conference on Business, Technology, and Innovation

Over 300 participants from 15 countries are taking part at the Fourth International Conference on Business, Technology, and Innovation,  organized by the UBT Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, in cooperation with two partner universities from Albania, the University of Tirana and the University of Vlora, as well as a number of other institutions and  professional partners, including the EUROSIM, the Kosovar Association of Control, Automatism, and Engineering Systems (KA-CASE), the Kosovar Association of Modeling and Simulation (KA-SIM), Quality Kosovo, and the Kosovo Management Association.


During the two days of the conference, as many as 220 papers, in 10 parallel conferences and four sessions, will be presented in debates covering a range of subjects, which include: computer science and engineering communication, energy efficiency, management, business and economy, mechatronics, engineering of systems and robotics, information systems and security, architecture, spatial planning and civil engineering, infrastructure and environment, law, political science and international relations, media and communication, and other.


Representatives from the universities of Tirana, Vlora, and Shkodra, and other academic institutions from Albania, representatives from other partner universities, like the Vienna University of Technology, the Corvinus University of Budapest, and representatives  of other universities from Hungary attended the opening ceremony.  Some of them addressed the conference, describing it as one of the biggest event of this kind in the region in the field of business, technology and innovation, and the contribution that the panelist will make during the two days of the conference.


Conference’s host, UBT Rector, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajziri, stressed the huge importance of this conference, which is being organized for the fourth year in a row. He said the number of the participants and presentations was growing, and so was the network of the international associates.


Rector Hajrizi advised that besides with the universities of Tirana, Vlora and Shkodra from Albania, the UBT was closely cooperating with the University of Vienna and a number of other partners from many countries.


On the first day of the conference,  a series of presentations in the sessions on the Business and Economics, Political Science and International Relations, Energy Efficiency, Architecture and Construction were made.

 

The Fourth International Conference on Business, Technology and Innovation has attracted huge interest among the professionals participating in the sessions.  Interesting discussions and debates between presenters, the  UBT students and other universities attending the conference followed the presentations made on the first day of the event.
