In UBT took place the graduation ceremony of academic year 2017/2018
18/07/2018The ceremony was organized in the amphitheatre “1 Tetori”, in Prishtina. In the graduation ceremony was witnessed the participation of about 700 students of Bachelor and Master. Beside that there also partook many UBT professors and thousands of parents who came to celebrate the achievements of their children. In addition, part of this ceremony were also invited international and local guests.
The rector of UBT prof.dr.Edmond Hajrizi availed from the occasion to thank and congratulate students who chose UBT as a higher education institution to complete their academic studies.
Above all Mr.Hajrizi put the emphasis on the prestige that characterizes the institution. “You have chosen the unique fields of study that offers this institution, the underlying values that are unabridged features of our institution and it’s worth mentioning that you chose to be lectured by the most eminent local and international professors who are committed to convey the best teaching practices regarding the academic level.
Moreover he emphasized that students who have graduated in UBT are the best ambassadors and representatives of Kosovo in international level.
“Today we are delighted to say that after your hard struggles to successfully complete, you may be considered professionals of the future. Apart from that, you will be able to cope with the labor market and become colleagues with many of our former students, with whom we are proud of. Undoubtedly, it is impossible to go in an institution, faculty or even private company and enterprise and not to find an employee who has previously been a UBT student. As matter of fact, I strongly believe that you will represent UBT in the most dignitary way wherever you go, said Mr.Hajrizi.
“In the course of three years of study you became at the same time part of the big family of UBT, the institution which marked 17 years of academic work being a synonym of quality, innovation, internationalization, research and success”, added Mr.Hajrizi in front of the students.
Felix Breitenesker. professor at the University of Technology of Vienna, as well as the professor coming from the “University of Patras”, from Greece have congratulated the generation for their achievements. They said that students who graduated marked a new chapter in their life and at the same time advised them to find themselves in the labor market.
In the end of the ceremony the students have taken the academic oath and were given certificates. After that they have thrown behind the student hats which is a widespread tradition in such events.
