Edmond Hajrizi Appointed Vice President of the European Organization for Quality

Kosovo’s leader in education, innovation, and quality management to represent the country at the European level.

Edmond Hajrizi, founder and president of Quality Kosovo, the visionary behind UBT Smart City, and Rector of UBT, has been appointed Vice President of the European Organization for Quality (EOQ).

Hajrizi is a distinguished figure in both Kosovo and Europe in the fields of academia and business, recognized for his leadership and innovation. He is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and serves as a university professor. Throughout his career, he has received numerous prestigious awards, including “University Leader of the Year” and “Entrepreneurial Professor of the Year.” He is also the recipient of the highly regarded “European Quality Leader of the Year” award.

Last year, he was additionally honored with an award from the President of Austria in recognition of his outstanding contributions.

In his new role at EOQ, Hajrizi will contribute to shaping European strategies related to quality management, sustainable organizational practices, and innovation, while further strengthening Kosovo’s position on the European professional landscape.

“I am deeply honored to serve as Vice President of the European Organization for Quality. This role enables me to bring Kosovo’s expertise to the European stage and promote excellence, innovation, and quality across organizations throughout Europe,” said Hajrizi.
