UBT Beneficiary of European Commission’s Erasmsus + Mobility Grants Program

23/09/2015

UBT Rector, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, is on a working visit at the Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary.  During a meeting with leaders of that university, it was confirmed that the UBT, in cooperation with the Corvinus University, is a beneficiary of a new project of European Commission called Erasmus + Mobility Grants Program.

The project offers good opportunities for the UBT students and academic staff in terms of creating sustainable and institutional channels of cooperation.  More specifically, the project provides opportunities for an exchange of students and academic staff between the UBT and Corvinus University and guarantees a transfer of the ECTs, meaning that our programs are equivalent with the European universities and are accepted by them.

Apart from this agreement supported by the European Commission, the UBT benefited some weeks ago from a similar project coordinated by the Salzburg University which provides for developing a new and joint program in the field of political sciences.

The UBT and the Corvinus University have signed a memorandum of cooperation on a number of areas which provides for exchange of students and lecturers, doctoral studies, cooperation in the field of researches, and a number of other areas of cooperation.
