Rector Hajrizi Participates at 25th Economic Forum in Poland

UBT Rector, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, has participated at the 25th Economic Forum in Poland, at an invitation by the leaders of the forum.


The Economic Forum is one of the most important economic events in Central Europe.  For 25 years it has served as a venue of discussions by the most senior state leaders of Europe and wider.


The 25th Forum was held in the city of Krynica with n world leaders, prime ministers, and presidents, ministers, leaders of prestigious companies from all over the world attending.


Addressing the Forum’s participants, Rector Hajrizi spoke on the topic “Contribution of Innovation to Long-Term and Sustainable Development.”  Among others, he presented the experiences and the contribution that the UBT, as the leading institution in the field of research and innovation, has given in Kosovo and the region. 


Ardian Emini, Director for Academic Issues of the UBT, also participated at the Forum.


This year’s topic of the Forum was “Towards a Resilient Europe. Strategies for the Future.” Many panelists presented their views and ideas on the economic, political, and social issues through debates, reports, and discussions. 

At the margins of the Forum, Rector Hajrizi held a number of meetings with leaders of different European institutions with whom he discussed topics of mutual interest.
