The Faculty of Media and Communication at UBT organized a thematic lecture featuring Tímea Laboda, an international expert from Budapest, Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Marketing and Communication and Head of the Media Workshop at Budapest Metropolitan University (METU). Together with UBT students, she explored the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence in media content creation.

The lecture, entitled “Creative Media with AI: Tools and Ethics for Emerging Storytellers,” focused on the use of artificial intelligence tools in creative content production, visual storytelling, and the importance of ethics in a media landscape rapidly transformed by emerging technologies.

During the lecture, students had the opportunity to gain deeper insights into the potential of AI in creative processes and the development of new forms of communication. They also discussed the professional responsibilities associated with the use of these technologies. Particular attention was given to the relationship between human creativity, technological innovation, and ethical principles in the creation and distribution of media content.

Activities of this kind reflect the commitment of UBT’s Faculty of Media and Communication to connecting teaching with contemporary developments in the media and communication industry. They provide students with opportunities to expand their knowledge beyond regular lectures and prepare for the challenges of the modern labour market.

Through international partnerships and academic exchange, UBT aims to foster a learning environment that embraces innovation, enabling students to benefit from the experiences and perspectives of international experts while gaining exposure to emerging professional practices.
