Rector Hajrizi Discusses the Role of AI in Education and Innovation at AI4Youth
09/09/2026Rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, participated in the “AI4Youth: From Learning to Building” activity, as part of the panel “Empowering the Next Generation of AI Innovators,” organized at the invitation of The Foundation House, where the role of artificial intelligence in education and in preparing young people for the professions of the future was discussed.
Bringing the perspective of higher education and innovation, Rector Hajrizi emphasized the importance of moving from learning about artificial intelligence to using it to create concrete solutions, highlighting the role universities should play in this transformation.
In this context, UBT is the first institution in the region to have implemented an integrated artificial intelligence ecosystem in education and other fields, expanding the use of AI comprehensively across teaching, research, innovation, and university processes.
AI4Youth is a program aimed at empowering young people by developing their knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence, information and communication technology, and application development, guiding them from learning toward creating concrete solutions.
