Rector Hajrizi Visits Herz-Jesu Hospital in Vienna for Healthcare Digitalization

As part of his official visit to Austria, UBT Rector Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi visited Herz-Jesu Hospital Vienna, part of the Vinzenz Group, where he was introduced to modern practices in healthcare digitalization and innovation.

During the visit, the delegation toured the advanced sleep laboratory, the “Hallo Gesundheit” platform for digital patient monitoring, as well as the Therapiezentrum chronischer Schmerz (TCS), a specialized center for the multidisciplinary treatment of chronic pain. The center applies modern approaches such as physiotherapy, psychological therapy, biofeedback, and virtual reality–based treatments.

In meetings with hospital experts and management, discussions focused on potential future cooperation with UBT and the UBT Hospital and Polyclinic, emphasizing the exchange of experience and the development of innovative projects in the healthcare sector.
