Kosovo to Host the European Quality Congress, EOQ President Pays Official Visit to UBT
17/06/2026The President of the European Organization for Quality (EOQ), Paulo Sampaio, and the Program Manager, Katelijne Knaeps, visited UBT’s Science, Innovation and Technology Park in Lipjan, where they were welcomed by UBT Rector, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi.
During the visit, discussions focused on the preparations for EOQ Congress 2026, the 67th edition of the European Quality Congress, which will take place in Kosovo this October and will be co-organized by UBT and Quality Kosova.
The congress is expected to bring together experts, researchers, professionals, and policymakers from dozens of countries around the world, including Japan, China, India, and the United States, to discuss topics related to quality, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, innovation, sustainability, and the development of future competencies.
EOQ Congress 2026 will be held under the theme “Shaping Quality for a Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Future – Quality, Growth, Human Values and Trust in the Age of AI.”
The call for applications is now open for all interested participants who wish to be part of this prestigious international event, which will position Kosovo at the center of global discussions on quality, innovation, and sustainable development.
