Rector Edmond Hajrizi at the University of Cambridge: Discussions on Joint Projects and Initiatives in Kosovo, Europe, and Globally
04/06/2026UBT Rector, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, conducted a working visit to the University of Cambridge, one of the world’s most prestigious academic institutions, where he met with university representatives and academics to discuss opportunities for cooperation and the development of new strategic projects.
During the meetings, the parties discussed joint initiatives aimed at advancing education, scientific research, innovation, technology, and public policy. The discussions focused on establishing sustainable partnerships that will contribute to the development of professional and academic capacities, as well as addressing contemporary challenges in Kosovo, the United Kingdom, Europe, and globally.
Rector Hajrizi presented UBT’s experience and achievements in building innovative ecosystems, including concepts of smart and sustainable cities, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, and the development of modern education models. These initiatives attracted significant interest from international partners, opening new opportunities for academic, scientific, and developmental cooperation.
