UBT and Rector Hajrizi Recognized with the Highest Global Awards as Role Models for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Social Impact by the Triple E Awards

UBT and its Rector, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, at the latest edition of the Global Triple E Awards, were honored by an international jury with the highest global recognitions as role models for leadership in innovative transformations and for their outstanding impact on society through education, entrepreneurship, innovation, social responsibility, and addressing global challenges.

UBT was awarded the title “Engaged University of the Year”, ranking first at the global level and surpassing prestigious universities from Sweden, Canada, Australia, and Saudi Arabia.

With the central motto “Knowledge in Action: Shaping Tomorrow through Science, Equity, and Shared Progress”, UBT positions itself at the heart of the global higher education map, as an institution that not only creates societal impact but also contributes to state-building and tackling global challenges.

The Rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, was ranked as the second-best global leader in higher education, being awarded the prestigious “University Leader of the Year Award – Runner up”.

His contribution to “Reimagining Education, Building the Future: Prof. Hajrizi and the UBT Ecosystem” was recognized for his visionary leadership and transformative impact on education and society.

This new achievement follows last year’s recognition, when Rector Hajrizi was ranked first in the category “Entrepreneurship Educator of the Year”, while UBT was placed second for “Young Entrepreneurial University of the Year.”
