UBT Rector Participates in the Inaugural Ceremony as a Full Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in Salzburg, Austria

UBT Rector, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, participated in the festive ceremony for the inauguration of new full members of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. This prestigious event was held at the main amphitheater of the University of Salzburg and gathered distinguished personalities from around the world.

On this occasion, Rector Hajrizi and the other members accepted this year received their Membership Certificates.

Rector Hajrizi emphasized that his admission to the Academy represents an opportunity to further contribute in his fields of interest, addressing global problems and emerging challenges.

“I am honored and delighted to be admitted to such an important community in Europe and I will offer my contributions even more broadly, particularly in addressing new global challenges related to my areas of interest, such as artificial intelligence, sustainable development, innovation, smart and self-sustainable cities, education, technology, and many others,” said Rector Hajrizi.

Being accepted into the European Academy of Sciences and Arts is another significant achievement for Rector Hajrizi and UBT, highlighting their commitment to advancing science, innovation, and international academic collaboration.

Rector Hajrizi also met with many renowned scientific personalities from around the world, including the Academy’s President, Mr. Klaus Mainzer, with whom he discussed potential collaboration opportunities. In honor of the new members, the European Academy organized a festive gala evening on Saturday.
