UBT College offers a clear and rigorous admission process for the Master’s program in Security Studies. Admission is based on national laws and institutional regulations, and varies depending on the language of instruction and the candidate’s background (local or international).
Admission Conditions
If the language of instruction is Albanian, the criteria for admission are as follows:
- Completion of higher education, Bachelor’s level.
- Minimum average grade 8.5 according to the grading system in Kosovo.
If the language of instruction is English, the criteria for admission are as follows:
- Completion of higher education, bachelor’s level.
- Average grade equivalent to 8.5 according to the Kosovar system (equivalence is assessed for international students).
- Proof of knowledge of the English language, through:
- TOEFL iBT (Computer-Based) with at least 110 points, or
- Equivalent certificate at the C1 level according to CEFR.
- UBT is a licensed center for conducting the TOEFL test in Kosovo.
For international students, recognition and equivalence of high school diplomas through Kosovo’s Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation is required prior to application.

- Public Call: UBT publishes official call for admission on the official website and other communication channels.
- Submission of Documents:
- A. level diploma.
- CV
- Copy of ID/passport.
- Certificate of English language proficiency (if applicable).
- Documentation for grade equivalence (for international applicants).
- Evaluation: The Faculty Council reviews each application based on the grade point average, exam results, and submitted documentation.
- Final Decision: Successful applicants are notified individually of their admission.
