The Faculty of Art and Design at UBT has built – and continues to strengthen – close connections with the creative industries and cultural sector, ensuring that our academic programs remain aligned with the latest professional developments. Our programs are designed to meet market demands and prepare students for the challenges and opportunities in the fields of design, fashion, digital art, modern music, and dramatic arts.
Each year, the faculty organizes meetings and forums with industry partners – including galleries, theaters, fashion houses, digital media companies, and music production studios – to identify industry needs and trends and integrate them into our curricula. In addition, experts and lecturers from the creative sector actively contribute to teaching, bringing the latest knowledge in technology, design, art, and contemporary industry practices.
Collaboration with local and international industries is one of our greatest strengths. We have established long-term partnerships with institutions and companies across Kosovo and the region, as well as with international teams and projects in Germany, the Czech Republic, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Austria. Through joint initiatives – including those supported by Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe – our students and staff engage in research, artistic productions, and mobility programs, positioning UBT firmly on the European creative map.
Through the Faculty of Art and Design, UBT has also built strong partnerships with the labor market and civil society organizations, enabling students and staff to contribute to cultural and community development projects while advancing their careers through internships, exhibitions, and productions that extend beyond the university walls.
Industry Board

The Industry Board is composed of:
The board meets regularly to identify industry trends, advise on the development of new programs, and build bridges between students and the labor market, ensuring that graduates of the Faculty of Art and Design are fully prepared to succeed in Kosovo and beyond.
