12/02/2020There has taken place the eighth edition of the worldwide competition in technology “Albanian ICT Awards” has opened, the mission of which is to highlight the work of Albanian youth in the field of innovation and technology.
On this occasion, UBT Rector, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, was invited to the opening of this competition in Tirana, as well as professors, students, representatives of institutions from Albania and Kosovo, as well as guests from all over Albania. Likewise the previous years, UBT is the main sponsor of this event. Within the framework of this event competitors will have the opportunity to discuss about their achievements and ways of implementing various projects.
Moreover, UBT has participated in this competition even in the former editions. As a result, UBT students have been awarded with numerous prizes for their innovative solutions. Meanwhile, this year at the “Albanian ICT Awards 8” young Albanians will compete with their projects in the categories: Star Rising, Innovation and Mobility of the Year, Diploma of the Year, Public Service of the Year and Cyber Security, as well as the ICT Woman.
