The UBT library has been enriched with 250 thousand books and over 52 thousand titles (Video)
28/02/2019One of the underlying priorities of UBT has been to create a space which provides staff and students with the opportunity of finding the whole range of book titles they need. This large library is located within the UBT Innovative Campus, in Lipjan.
Taking into account the fact that there is a variety of study fields, the library is comprised of almost 250 thousand books and 52 thousand titles concerning many disciplines.
Despite the libraries in Prishtina, Lipjan and Ferizaj, UBT also creates the opportunity of having unlimited access in the electronic library. Until now, UBT is a member of three renowned electronic libraries, such as EBSCO, SAGE Journals and J-STORE
At least once a year, UBT is being consistently supplied by 15-20 thousand new book titles. There vast majority of book titles have been brought during the recent years. Among others, having a surface of 240m2 the UBT library offers a comfortable space for reading and relaxing.
The UBT students are provided with the opportunity of having access in books concerning all fields of study, as well be equipped with a wide range of encyclopedias and dictionaries.
The vast majority of books are in Albanian and English language. Only a small percentage is in German and Serbian language. Only in the last two years, the UBT library has been enriched by 60 thousand titles. Moreover, there is also a direct access in e-books, academic and scientific articles.
