The project “Briefcase Desk” which was designed by the UBT student Elion Bilali, wins the Student Design Competition

The Project Briefcase Desk carried out by Elion Bilali wins the Design Competition organized by MDA in collaboration with the Association of Wood Refinement in Kosovo, USAID and Swedish Embassy of Kosovo.

 

In this competition participated 40 youngsters, who tried to provide efficient solutions, whereas the project “Briefcase Desk” was chosen as the most innovative idea of this competition.

 

Winning this competition was of significant importance for him and it will further foster him towards a successful career. “I’m aiming at further developing my product in the future.

He’s project is concerned with building a “Briefcase Desk” in Albanian, a bag which will also serve as a table.

 

“Briefcase Desk” is useful and practical to be held as a bag, and based on the specific needs it may be changed in a big or a small table and in order to change it in a big table it is necessary to trigger one of its legs which is divided in two parts by utilizing a simple mechanism.

 

“Briefcase Desk”, is divided in two folders, one is created for studying purposes and is has two cabinets (for paper, pencils/colors), whereas the other is for working in a laptop etc.

 

Whereas, the ergonomic aspect has been of significant importance in this competition and an underlying factor in the design. It’s worth mentioning that many UBT students have been part of this competition and succeeded in going towards the final phase.
